Publish Date: March 31, 2015
Publisher: Jolly Fish Press

In the heat of the desert, Detective Cody Oliver inadvertently stumbles upon a strange garden adorned with exotic flowers. Upon closer inspection, he finds the garden is but a cover for the scores of bodies buried below. Soon, the small town of Mt. Dessicate plunges into chaos as journalists, reporters, and cameramen from across the nation descend upon the tiny, desert town to get a piece of the action.
Along with the media, a mysterious woman appears. She may be the only person who has come face to face with the killer, dubbed the Botanist, and lived to tell the tale. If Cody can't piece together a timeline of the land the crime scene is located on, decipher how the woman's mysterious past is connected to the killer, and bring the Botanist to justice, he may lose the people he values most.

I'm not motivated to write blog posts anymore. I really don't have much to talk about. My reviews aren't reviews, they're just ramblings. I rarely every check blogger and I'm not reading a lot lately. I'll post occasional reviews and do some book tours, but that's about it. Sorry if this is disappointing to the people who actually like my blog. I hope you understand that I'm not up to writing. I feel bad for not having updates and the pressure to write something is not fun. Good bye for a while.

Extraordinary Means Review

Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider
Publisher: Katherine Tegen Books
Publish Date: May 26, 2015
At seventeen, overachieving Lane finds himself at Latham House, a sanatorium for teens suffering from an incurable strain of tuberculosis. Part hospital and part boarding school, Latham is a place of endless rules and confusing rituals, where it's easier to fail breakfast than it is to flunk French.
There, Lane encounters a girl he knew years ago. Instead of the shy loner he remembers, Sadie has transformed. At Latham, she is sarcastic, fearless, and utterly compelling. Her friends, a group of eccentric troublemakers, fascinate Lane, who has never stepped out of bounds his whole life. And as he gradually becomes one of them, Sadie shows him their secrets: how to steal internet, how to sneak into town, and how to disable the med sensors they must wear at all times.
But there are consequences to having secrets, particularly at Latham House. And as Lane and Sadie begin to fall in love and their group begins to fall sicker, their insular world threatens to come crashing down.
Extraordinary Means is a darkly funny story about doomed friendships, first love, and the rare miracle of second chances.

Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Hype Books I Haven't Read

Top Ten Tuesdays is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week, there is a a new category and you fill it in-I'm not good with words, so don't judge. I can't think of any books at the top of my head, so I'll just go look at some booktube channels.
